Our Services: Speech and Occupational Therapy

  • Speech Sound Assessments

Standardized testing that assesses what sounds a child can and can not produce.

  • Language Assessments

Standardized testing to assess where your child may be functioning with receptive and expressive language skills.

  • Gestalt Language Development

Another way some children learn and process language. A child who processes language in this way can get “stuck” at the single word level when not supported properly.

  • Natural Language Acquisition

The 6 stages of language development for gestalt language processors. Each stage requires specific support and language models.

  • Fluency

We assess how fluent your child’s speech may be when speaking. Some children may have dysfluencies (stuttering) and need help and strategies for smoother speech.

  • Parent Consultations

We offer parent consultations nationwide via Zoom. This is not direct treatment but parental guidance on how to support your child’s speech and language needs at home.

  • Sensory Processing Assessment

Standardized parent questionnaire is used by our licensed Occupational Therapist to assess a child’s sensory nervous system. This is helpful for understanding your child’s sensory processing needs.

  • Occupational Therapy Assessment

Occupational Therapy focuses on fine motor control, daily life skills, gross motor control, sensory processing, feeding difficuties (picky eating), attention and focus.

“Lia is the most amazing person. My son has been seeing her for over a year and the amount of progress is unreal. She’s always there to help and truly cares for my son. Couldn’t recommend a better speech therapist.“
